Privacy Policy

Madar is a point-of-sale and store-management app used by a shop owner and their staff to record sales, inventory, customers, suppliers, and expenses. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, password, store role, and permissions. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication.
• Store profile: store name, business type, address, phone, WhatsApp, social links, logo, and invoice or return-policy text.
• Business records you enter: products, photos, barcodes, prices, customers (name, phone, notes), suppliers, sales and payment methods, purchases, returns, expenses, cash register, inventory, and branches.
• Subscription: subscription status, trial or payment dates, and activation requests.
• Device and notifications: a device identifier used to sync between devices, and a Firebase Cloud Messaging token for service notifications.
• On-device storage: a local copy of store data for offline use. If you turn on “remember me”, the email and password are stored on that device for the next sign-in.

The camera is used only when you choose to scan a barcode or take a product or logo photo. The app does not use the camera in the background and does not collect location.

How we use data

• To create accounts, sign in, and verify phone numbers.
• To run the register, inventory, reports, and sync data across the store’s devices.
• To store product and logo images.
• To send service notifications, such as subscription status.
• To provide support and handle password-reset or subscription requests.
• To protect accounts from unauthorized access.

We do not sell your data, show ads in the app, or use the data to track you across other apps.

Who we share data with

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging) hosts the data and runs accounts and notifications. Processing is covered by the Firebase Privacy Policy.
• The same store’s devices: the account owner and staff they authorize can see that store’s data.
• WhatsApp: if you choose to send an invoice or a support message, the app opens WhatsApp with the content you decide to send. WhatsApp is a separate service.

We may disclose data when required by applicable law or a competent authority.

Retention

We keep account and store records while the account is active and needed to operate the store and its backups. Records deleted in the app are marked deleted and may remain in backups for a reasonable period. “Remember me” credentials stay on your device until you turn the option off or clear the app data.

Deletion

You can delete individual records inside the app according to your permissions. To delete an account or ask us to remove store data from our servers, email alybeliedy@gmail.com or message WhatsApp at +20 1024162721. We will handle the request within a reasonable time, keeping what is required for legal duties or to evidence financial transactions.

Security

Data is sent over an encrypted connection, and access is limited by store account and staff permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Protect your device and do not share your password.

Children

Madar is a store-management tool for business owners and staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after an update means you have the current policy available.
